White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour, sifted
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. mixed fruit peelings or candied fruit
    1 lb. white raisins
    1 1/4 c. crushed pineapple
    5 eggs
    1/2 lb. walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Add 1 egg at a time and beat well.
    Add pineapple, then flour.
    Mix fruit in a little flour so it won't settle to the bottom.
    Put aluminum foil in pan.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
