Alice'S Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. rice
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. raisins
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 small box Jell-O pudding and pie filling mix
Preparation
    Bring rice, salt, margarine and water to boil in a small saucepan.
    Let cook until rice is tender.
    Drain.
    Do not rinse. Add sugar, beaten eggs, vanilla and raisins.
    Mix well.
    Let set. Bring milk and Jell-O mix to a boil over medium heat.
    Stir into the rice mix.
    Bake in oven until the top shakes like custard. Remove from oven.
    Let cool for about 15 minutes, then cover with a clear wrap, i.e., Glad Wrap or Saran Wrap, for about 30 minutes. Serve warm.
    Makes about 6 (4 ounce) servings.
