Boiled Custard With Berries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk (low-fat okay; half and half makes it really rich)
    3 eggs
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. berries (raspberries, strawberries, any), sugared the way you like them (frozen or fresh)
Preparation
    Heat milk to scalding; do not boil.
    While it is heating, in another bowl, break eggs.
    Mix up completely; add sugar.
    Spoon some of the heated milk into the eggs and stir well to get them a little warm.
    Add egg mix to the hot milk very slowly, stirring all the time.
