Congo Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. brown sugar (2 1/4 c. firmly packed)
2/3 c. butter
3 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped pecans
9 oz. semi-sweet chips (more or less)
Preparation

Stir brown sugar and butter over low heat to melt butter. Cool.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
Add flour, salt and baking soda.
Mix well.
Stir in pecans and semi-sweet chips. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
