Thick And Saucy Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground beef
2 Tbsp. oil
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 c. water
3 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. paprika
Salt, to taste
1/2 c. chopped onions
8 to 10 bay leaves
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

In large soup pot, brown the ground beef in the oil.
Drain excess grease. Add the remaining ingredients except the cornstarch.
Simmer for about 30 minutes.
Remove bay leaves.
Add enough water to the cornstarch to make a paste that will pour. Add to chili and cook until thickened.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
