Raisin Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. plain flour
1 c. self-rising flour
2 1/4 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
2 boxes raisins
Preparation

Place butter in mixing bowl in oven and warm to soften.
Blend in sugar.
Add eggs one at a time while mixing slowly.
Add salt, flavoring and flour, blending well.
Stir in raisins with mixing spoon.
Batter will be stiff.
This prevents raisins from settling to bottom.
Makes a large tube cake.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours.
