Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 very large Spanish onions
    1 stick margarine or butter
    crushed saltines or Ritz crackers
    4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Saute onions in margarine until translucent.
    Crush enough crackers in a pie plate to cover bottom and sides.
    Pour onions and butter over crackers.
    Put shredded cheese on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
