Freezer Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. finely crushed strawberries
    4 c. sugar
    1 pkg. powdered fruit pectin
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Combine fruit and sugar.
    Let stand for 20 minutes stirring occasionally.
    Boil pectin and water rapidly for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add berries and stir 2 minutes.
    Pour into containers and cover.
    Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.
    Refrigerate until set.
    Store in freezer. Makes 5 to 6 half pints.
