Raspberry Upside Cake - cooking recipe

3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
6 drops almond or vanilla extract
1 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
3 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
2 1/2 c. raspberries
Preparation

Cream 3 tablespoons butter and 1/2 cup sugar; add egg and beat well.
Stir in the flavoring.
Mix and sift the flour, baking powder and salt and add alternately with the milk to the creamed mixture.
