Josephinas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese
    1 clove garlic
    2 (4 oz.) cans green chilies, chopped
    1 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Soften butter to room temperature.
    Grate cheese coarsely and beat with butter.
    Put garlic through garlic press (or mash or mince finely).
    Add chilies and garlic to cheese mixture.
    Add mayonnaise.
    Beat well to blend.
    Store in glass jar in refrigerator.
