7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce
1/2 c. celery
1/2 c. green pepper
1/2 c. onion
1 bag frozen peas
2 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. sugar
8 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
8 slices bacon
Preparation

Cut lettuce in 1-inch pieces and put on bottom of dish, then layer celery, green pepper and onion, all chopped or diced.
Layer thawed peas.
Mix mayonnaise with sugar and layer.
Top with grated cheese.
Put bacon, fried and crumbled, on the top; refrigerate.
Make the night before needed or at least 8 hours in advance.
