Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 sticks margarine (room temperature)
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. orange, lemon, rum or coconut flavoring (optional)
Preparation
    Mix sugar, butter and Crisco until smooth.
    Add vanilla and eggs.
    Beat well, add flour and milk, beat about 5 minutes.
    Add baking powder.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Pour into 2 loaf
    or 1 tube pan that has been greased and lined with wax paper.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 one hour or until tester comes out clean when stuck in cake.
    Cool in pans about 10 minutes.
    Take out of pans.
    Put in a tight container until cold.
