Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 cup shortening
2 c. sugar
2 (1 oz.) bottles red food coloring
2 eggs
2 c. cake flour
1 Tbsp. coco
1 cup buttermilk
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add coloring.
Beat one egg at a time into mixture.
Mix buttermilk, vinegar, and baking soda.
Add to above mixture.
Beat until it gets creamy.
Pour into 2 prepared 9 inch cake pans.
Bake at 375 degrees until toothpick comes back clean.
