Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter, divided
    2 c. graham crackers
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    3 bananas, thinly crushed
    1 large tub Cool Whip
    1 jar maraschino cherries
    chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt 1 stick of butter.
    Mix with graham crackers and 1/2 cup of sugar.
    Soften 2 sticks butter; add eggs and the powdered sugar; beat for no less than 15 minutes.
    Spread over crust layer. Add the bananas, pineapple and Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
    Place cherries on top.
