Sis. Anderson'S Chocolate Poundcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    5 eggs
    3 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 1/4 c. whole milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Mix rest of dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
    Stir in vanilla and lemon extract.
    Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done.
