Fudge Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
    1/2 c. butter
    4 eggs
    3 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt butter and chocolate in top of a double boiler.
    Cool. Beat eggs until light.
    Beat in remaining ingredients.
    Add chocolate mixture.
    Mix thoroughly and pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Top should be crusty and pie should shake like custard.
    Top with ice cream to serve.
