Chocolate Pinwheels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 egg, unbeaten
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
Preparation
    Sift flour once; measure.
    Add baking powder and salt and sift again.
    Cream shortening; add sugar gradually and cream together until light and fluffy.
    Add egg and milk and beat well.
    Add flour, small amount at a time, mixing well after each addition. Divide dough into 2 parts.
    To one part, add chocolate and blend. Roll each on floured wax paper into rectangular shape 1/8-inch thick.
    Lay plain sheet over chocolate sheet.
    Remove wax paper. Roll like jelly roll.
    Chill until firm.
    Cut into 1/8-inch slices. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until done.
