Hawaiian Wedding Cake - cooking recipe

1 box yellow cake mix (pudding mix)
1 c. milk
1 box instant vanilla pudding
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1 pkg. nondairy whipped topping or frozen Cool Whip
1 can flaked coconut
Preparation

Bake cake mix according to directions and cool.
Mix together pudding and cream cheese.
Spread over cake.
Spread drained pineapple over this mixture.
Next, smooth whipped topping and then coconut.
Add nuts, if desired.
Keep refrigerated.
