Beans A La Keeno - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dry limas or Great Northern beans
    1/2 small onion, diced
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 lb. side meat, smoked and diced
    1 tsp. A.1. or Worcestershire sauce
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 can (No. 303) tomatoes
    1 can (10 1/4 oz.) tomato soup
    1 can (No. 303) diced potatoes
Preparation
    Wash beans (do not soak), add onion, salt, meat, tomatoes, A.1. and tomato sauce.
    Fill pot with water to cover beans.
    Boil for 1 hour.
    Add tomato soup and potatoes and cook slowly, adding water to keep from sticking (stir often).
    Cook about 2 to 3 hours until done.
