Mindy'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lg. qt. strawberries, washed & hulled
1 c. sugar
3 T. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello

Preparation

Prepare and bake a 9-inch pie crust and cool. Combine sugar, cornstarch and water in a saucepan, and boil until it becomes thick. Remove from heat and add strawberry jello. Cool mixture at least 5 minutes. Arrange the whole strawberries in the pie crust and pour glaze slowly over the strawberries. Refrigerate 3-4 hours or until firm.
