Hummingbird Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
3 bananas, chopped
2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

In large bowl, sift together the dry ingredients.
Add oil, eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Add pineapple and bananas; stir gently (do not beat).
Add nuts.
Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan; bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Cool in pan for 15 minutes before turning out on rack.
When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost with a glaze of lemon juice and powdered sugar.
