Marinated Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. mushrooms, cleaned (raw)
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 clove garlic
    1/2 tsp. peppercorns
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix together water, vinegar and oil; shake well with garlic, peppercorns, thyme, oregano and salt.
    Add mushrooms.
    Cover and refrigerate.
    Also good sliced in salads.
