Colonial Pumpkin Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin or 2 c. mashed, cooked pumpkin
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. nuts
    4 eggs
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Blend in pumpkin and eggs.
    Add combined dry ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Stir in 1 cup chopped walnuts.
    Spread in greased and floured pan.
    Bake in 9 x 13-inch or 10 x 15-inch pan for 35 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Frost with cream cheese or buttercream frosting.
