Stir-Fry Vegetable Batter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. cornstarch
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. water
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    4 c. cut up veggies (zucchini, cauliflower, mushrooms, etc.)
Preparation
    In bowl, stir together cornstarch, flour, baking powder, salt and pepper.
    Add water and egg.
    Stir until smooth.
    Dip veggies into batter and carefully add to oil.
    Deep fry in hot oil at 375\u00b0.
    Stir batter occasionally.
    Fry 2 to 3 minutes, turning once until golden and crisp.
    Drain on paper towel.
    Serves 4 to 6.
