Bara Brith - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. self-rising flour
    2 c. tea
    2 c. mixed fruit
    1 tsp. mixed spices
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Soak the fruit in milkless tea overnight.
    Mix all dry ingredients together.
    Stir in the beaten egg.
    Combine together well and spoon into a lined tin.
    Bake in a moderate (325\u00b0) oven for 1 1/2 hours.
    Serve sliced and spread with butter.
