Biscuits Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. shortening
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients; cut in shortening until it resembles corn meal.
    Add milk all at once and stir just until dough follows fork around bowl.
    Roll or press 1/2-inch thick on a lightly floured surface and cut out.
    Bake on ungreased baking sheet or in a hot 425\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
