Buttermilk Potatoes(So Creamy!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. baking potatoes, peeled and quartered
    1 Tbsp. minced onion flakes
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 (8 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained
    salt to taste
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. wheat germ or dry bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. reduced-calorie margarine
Preparation
    Cook potatoes, covered, in boiling water, until tender, about 20 minutes.
    Drain.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    In a medium bowl, mash potatoes.
    Add onion flakes, garlic powder, mushrooms, salt, pepper, thyme and buttermilk.
    Mix well.
    Place mixture in a 1-quart baking dish that has been sprayed with a nonstick cooking spray.
    Sprinkle with wheat germ.
    Dot with margarine.
    Bake, uncovered, 15 minutes, until hot and lightly browned.
    Makes 4 servings.
