Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. flour
    3 c. chicken broth
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. ground thyme
    salt to taste
    4 c. cooked chicken, cut up
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and carrots, cooked and drained
    2 to 3 Tbsp. sherry (optional)
    2 1/2 c. Bisquick
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in large pot.
    Stir in flour and cook over medium heat.
    Gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly.
    Stir and simmer until it is gravy-thick.
    Add seasonings.
    Add chicken and vegetables and simmer until heated through.
    Stir in sherry.
    Pour into 2-quart casserole.
    Stir together Bisquick and milk to make manageable dough.
    Turn onto floured board and knead lightly until smooth.
    Roll out to a circle large enough to cover the top of casserole.
    Set dough on top of chicken mixture.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
