Ingredients

3 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1 egg
1 c. plus 3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pt. fig preserves, chopped in blender
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Beat sugar, oil and egg well. Slowly add dry ingredients. Add vanilla, preserves and pecans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes in a greased and floured 7 x 11 pan.
