Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 medium green peppers, cut in half
1/4 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. ground beef
1 c. cooked rice
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. water
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Remove seed section from cut green peppers.
Place pepper halves on a paper towel and cook 6 minutes with microwave energy. Cook onions and beef in an 8-inch round glass cake dish about 4 minutes or until all pink has left the meat.
Stir several times during cooking.
Cook rice according to the directions.
Mix the tomato sauce with water.
Combine onion, beef mixture with cooked rice, half of tomato mixture, egg, salt and pepper.
Stuff pepper halves and place in a 2-quart glass utility dish.
Pour remaining tomato sauce over top and place wax paper over the dish.
Cook with microwave 10 minutes.
Recipe yields 6.
