Dill Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. vinegar
3 qt. water
1 c. salt
1 gal. cucumbers
1 pkg. garlic
1 pkg. dill seed
Preparation

Pack cucumbers in glass jar, putting 3 or 4 pieces of garlic in each jar.
Use 1 teaspoon of dill seed to 1 quart of pickles. If using pint jars, use only 1/2 teaspoon of dill seed per pint. Boil water, vinegar and salt, making sure that the ingredients are dissolved.
Pour over cucumbers and seal.
