Raisin Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raisins
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. brown sugar, pressed down
    1/3 c. lemon juice or vinegar
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Heat raisins and water slowly to swell raisins 10 to 12 minutes.
    Add sugar and lemon juice or vinegar and salt.
    Boil very slowly until thickened.
    Makes 2 1/2 cups.
