Quick, Easy Pretzels(Kids Can Make Em!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 1/2 c. very warm water
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    4 c. flour (may use 2 c. wheat and 2 c. white)
    1 beaten egg
    coarse salt
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Stir in sugar, salt and flour. Knead until smooth, shiny and elastic.
    The kids may pound, turn, stretch and punch to their delight for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Cut into smaller pieces and roll into ropes, coil, whatever shapes you desire.
    Do not let rise.
