Tutti-Frutti Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 egg
    1 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 c. dates, chopped
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream butter
    and
    sugar;
    add\tegg.
    Dissolve\tsoda in small amount
    of\thot
    water and add to creamed mixture.\tSift baking powder, flour
    and\tcocoa
    together.
    Add
    to
    mixture alternately with the sour milk.
    Fold in dates and nuts.
    Bake in loaf pan or small torte
    pan for about 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
