Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    6 c. water
    8 oz. fine egg noodles
    1 tsp. salt
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    6 c. chicken bouillon cubes
    1 lb. cheese (Velveeta, Cheez Whiz or American)
    pepper to taste
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    6 c. milk
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter for 3 minutes.
    Add water and bouillon cubes.
    Heat to boiling until cubes are dissolved.
    Gradually add noodles and salt until mixture boils.
    Cook, uncovered, for 3 minutes.
    Stir in broccoli and garlic, cook 4 minutes.
    Add milk, cheese and pepper and continue cooking until cheese melts, stirring constantly.
