Microwave Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter; blend in brown sugar, condensed milk, salt and corn syrup.
    Cover with plastic wrap and microwave 10 minutes on High.
    Stir 2 or 3 times.
    Microwave, uncovered, 13 to 20 minutes on Medium-high.
