Mexican Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 stick oleo
    2 c. pecans
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix milk, 2 cups sugar and butter.
    Cook mixture to a soft ball stage, then brown 1 cup sugar until it completely melts. Pour into hot mixture; beat.
    Add pecans and vanilla.
    Pour into buttered dish.
