Rosy Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. softened butter or oleo
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 beaten egg
    3/4 c. milk
    6 c. diced rhubarb
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
Preparation
    Blend with fork as for a pie crust the softened butter or oleo, brown sugar, flour and baking powder.
    Add beaten egg and milk.
    Mixture will be moist.
    Spread in a 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan and up the sides.
    Next, spread diced rhubarb over dough.
    Then spread Jell-O over rhubarb.
    In a small bowl, blend 6 tablespoons butter or oleo, 1 1/2 cups white sugar and 1/2 cup flour.
    Sprinkle over rhubarb and Jell-O.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
