Granny'S Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans Pet milk (8 oz. cans)
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1/2 gal. whole milk
    3 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix on low speed in boiler, eggs and sugar, until well blended.
    Blend in both cans of Pet milk.
    Continue stirring over medium-high heat until almost boiling.
    Pour this mixture into ice cream freezer container.
    Add whole milk and fill to line or top of container.
    Add vanilla.
