Green Tomato Catsup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. green tomatoes
    6 medium onions
    4 green peppers
    1 red pepper
    1 small head cabbage
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. pickling spices
Preparation
    Mix first five ingredients and put 1/3 cup salt in enough water to cover.
    Let it sit overnight and drain.
    Add sugar, vinegar, 1 cup water and pickling spices; boil on stove for 20 minutes.
    Put in jars and seal.
    Cook in hot water for 10 minutes.
