Brickle Cookie Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 strip unsalted saltines
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 sticks butter
    6 Hershey chocolate bars
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Spray
    an 11 x 17-inch pan with Pam.
    Lay saltines in a layer on
    bottom
    of
    pan.
    Melt
    butter
    and
    sugar.
    Boil 3 minutes. Pour
    mixture
    over crackers.
    Cook in 400\u00b0 oven for 10
    minutes. Watch
    them carefully.
    They may burn.
    Take pan out of
    oven
    and lay chocolate bars on top to melt.
    Sprinkle nuts over
    all and cool in refrigerator a few hours.
    Take out and cut with pizza cutter or break into pieces like brittle.
