Low-Fat Lasagna - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 oz. lean ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (8 oz.) can lower sodium tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can lower sodium tomato paste
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 lasagna noodles
1 slightly beaten egg white
1 c. nonfat Ricotta cheese
1/2 c. part skim Mozzarella cheese
2 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. parsley, snipped
Preparation

Sauce:
Cook meat, onion and garlic until meat is brown. Drain off fat.
Stir in tomato sauce, paste, water, basil, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
