Date Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1/4 c. sifted cake flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat eggs until light.
    Add sugar and oil; blend well.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add dates, nuts and vanilla.
    Blend well and pour into greased shallow cake pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cut into bars or squares after cooling.
