Chili Con Queso Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. powdered oregano
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, diced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes, partly drained
    1 lb. Old English Brick cheese, cubed
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in oil. Add tomatoes with remaining juice, salt and oregano. Cook over medium heat until liquid cooks down. Add cheese and cook over low heat until cheese melts, stirring often. Add chopped chilies. Serve with tostados or corn chips.
