Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    sour milk
    2 c. raw rhubarb, cut in 1-inch pieces
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Add egg, beaten light, vanilla and sour milk.
    Mix with dry ingredients.
    Pour in a 9 x 11-inch pan.
    Spread rhubarb on top. Cover with topping of 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes or until done.
