Green Pepper Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. ground green pepper (save juice also)
    1/4 c. ground red hot pepper (I prefer to use 1/4 c. red sweet pepper)
    6 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. white vinegar
    1 (6 oz.) bottle Certo
Preparation
    Heat sugar and vinegar until dissolved.
    Add pepper and boil hard 1 minute. Remove from heat, add few drops green food coloring and Certo.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Pour into jars.
