Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 lg. onion (chopped)
    4 jalapeno peppers (chopped)
    1 c. corn meal
    2 eggs (well beaten)
    1 can cream style corn
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 lb. cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat, onions and peppers.
    Set aside.
    Mix rest of ingredients together.
    Put 1/2 of corn meal mixture into well greased iron skillet.
    Then pour meat mixture on top.
    Pour remaining corn meal mixture.
    Top with grated cheese.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
