Hungarian Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 c. rice (uncooked)
    jowl bacon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 large bell pepper, chopped
    1 large can sauerkraut
    1 can tomato soup
    1 head cabbage
Preparation
    Mix egg, beef, onion, rice, salt and bell pepper together and fill cabbage leaves.
    Line a 9 x 13-inch pan with sliced jowl bacon, then spread sauerkraut over this.
    Layer cabbage rolls on top of this and spread with tomato soup.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 3 hours.
