Carolyn'S Great Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 potatoes, sliced thin
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 1/2 c. ham
    flour
    salt and pepper
    butter
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 cans milk
Preparation
    Place a layer of the potatoes and onion in a flat baking dish, then sprinkle lightly with flour, salt, pepper and butter pats. Place over this a layer of cubed ham, about 1/2 cup or more. Repeat with a second and third layer.
    Pour mixture of soup and milk over potato layers.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until tender.
    Place foil under dish to catch overflow.
    A brown crust is very nice to wait for.
    A few minutes under the broiler may add this, if you wish. Wonderful with fresh, frozen corn and sour cream on the side.
