Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
1 c. milk
4 c. flour (plain)
5 large eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation

Mix butter and shortening. Slowly add sugar until well creamed and fluffy. Sift flour, measure, sift with baking powder and salt. Add flour and milk. Pour into greased pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Do not open oven until cake is done.
